American Family Link is a 100% volunteer 501(C)(3) organization that provides advocacy, support, and information to families of service men and women. We are supported by volunteers from a variety of communities giving us a diverse voice in supporting the brave men and women who fight for everyone’s rights. We strive to give voice and strength to veterans and family members who need help while members of their families are deployed. We live everyday in a freedom that these honorable men and women have given us.

As many of you have all heard there is a new method of communication sweeping the nation called Twitter. Twitter is a “micro-blogging” site useful for sending out quick information to the world at large. The benefit to AmFam Link being on Twitter is to give the same information to everyone all at the same time. In a Twitter “feed” you will be able to read the messages from any internet accessible computer in the world. Hopefully, as the soldier-family demographic comes into this new technology, more and more families will be able to twitter back and forth and we can relate important meeting information along with changes, dates, etc.
